I am finally so happy to talk with you, because this city is so boring without you and I miss you so much.

How you doing in England? I'm currently happy because the other day, I was bored, so I went  to a speed-dating bar. 

At the beginning, it was a little bit weird, because I'm not accostumate to this kind of dates, but it actually has been a good experience. I met a lot of people during the afternoon, in fact, one person called my attention. He was so beautiful and hot, but what mostly called my attention about him was his incredibly kindness. He was so nice with me, and luckily, we had time to exchange our telephone numbers, because we would like to meet each other this week. 

I'm sure we will end up together.

Lanzarote

Hi, this Christmas I went five days to Lanzarote (Canary Islands), and I'm going to talk about it.

I went to the Hesperia hotel Lanzarote, and it's a big hotel in front of the sea. It has a lot of rooms, restaurants, bars, tennis and volleyball courts, golf courts, spa and more...

To be honest, I had been in Lanzarote like four years ago, and I liked it so much, but I had more fun this time, because I went with my whole family, and it was funnier.

I did  lots of things in Lanzarote, like riding a camel, doing surf, visiting the Timanfaya vulcano... 

What I liked the most about this travel has been riding a camel, doing surf and, overcoat, going to the hotel's spa. 

I liked so so much the hotel's buffet, because you could eat a lot of different kinds of food and the food was actually amazing. I also liked the hotel's cocktails and I drunk a lot of cocktails. Honestly, I think I've gained weight because I ate too much food. 

Christmas eve was okay, because we ate a special menu in the hotel, and it was good though it was weird food.

Rome

Hello everybody!
In this post, I'm going to talk about my travel to Rome, which I made two weeks ago with my parents and my sisters.

First of all, I'd like to say that I love Rome because it's a great city, it has a lot of beautiful monuments, museums, history... But it also have a shopping zone, where I bought some stuff.

Rome is a big city, but honestly, I wouldn't like to live in there because I didn't feel comfortable in these surroundings at all. I think it's like there's so many people and so many foreigners, I mean, I'm a foreigner but I don't feel like living in Rome never. 

After this negative stuff, I'd like to say that I liked Rome because of its monuments, like the Coliseum, the amphiteatre, the Sixtine Chapel and the Sixtine Chapel museums. 

I also love Italian food because they cook so good pasta. I think Italian pizza is not as good as Italian pasta, but I like pizza either.

To be honest, I had a great time in Rome those two days, and I learnt some words in Italian.

My ideal home

My ideal home would be a flat in downtown London, because it's actually my favorite city in the whole world. I prefer downtown and not the outskirts because it's near everything, and if I'd have a job, it'll be easier to go on there each morning. 
First of all, it'd be a flat in Camden town. It would have a beautiful and florewed entrance, and nice neighbours. It wouldn't be too little, but not too spacious either. It would have a nice hall, with a cosy fireplace, to rest a little bit in the rainy days. In the hall, it also would have a very big TV, up the chimney. It would have two sofas, one bigger and another little (just for one person). It would have many paintings and posters of my music idles: Lana del Rey, Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry...
My house also would have a very nice room, with a very big bed and such beautiful views of London city. It'd have a nice and big wardrobe, and another one just for shoes. 
My flat would also have a very modern kitchen, to cook italian and mexican food. 
It would have a bathroom, modernist and big, with strawberry aromathised towels.
It would also have a big terrace, with very big and colored flowers, and two chairs to drink some tea on Sunday mornings.
The most important thing of my ideal flat would be its modernism, it wouldn't be too big either, but it would be very modern.

If my house was burning, first of all, I would take my mobile phone, because it's the thing I mostly use of all, and obviously, the thing I mostly take care.

Secondly, I'd take “The Maze Runner”, my favorite book, written by James Dashner, which I bought one month ago.

I also would take my computer, because I use it almost everyday to watch TV shows, movies, to do my homework etc...

Also I'd take my sweatshirt from my trip to Oregon, USA, because it brings me many memories from when I was there visiting my sister. I missed her so much when she was there.

I also would take my camera because I use it to take pictures in almost all the 
trips I do.

After, I'd take my iPad because I have there a lot of music, pictures and memories from the trips I made, and because I use it truly too much.

And I think that's all I'd take if my house was burning.

Galway, Ireland

Hello, I'm going to talk about my travel to Galway, Ireland. 
This trip was so good, and I had a very great time there. 

This trip was specially organized by Silvia's cousin, Laia, and her boyfriend Jose. 

Galway is a city in the west of Ireland, it's not too big but not too small. I went to English lessons in the Galway Cultural Institute. 

The first day, I was so excited because I wanted to learn more english and I also wanted to make new friends from Spain and from all Europe.
 
My host mother was so nice with me and my house partner, Arancha, and I think that at the beginning she was a little bit shy.
She had a little daughter named Maria, and she was so cute and nice with us, she talked to us almost everyday and she asked about Spain. 
There was an italian girl named Veronica in the same house as us. She was 23 years old and she went to another school to learn english.

I made new friends, I have a great time there, and I'm sure that I'll never forget this trip.

Pride and Prejudice

Hello! 
This summer I've been reading a book while I was Ireland.
The name of this book is Pride and Prejudice, and it's written by Jane Austen.
This book is set in England, in the 18's century.


The story is about how was the love and the marriage in that century, and about how families were interested in their children's weddings, and all of that. 
It's specifically based in the Bennet's family, specially in Elizabeth Bennet who had a lot of prejudices of Mr Darcy, and in Mr Darcy, who had a lot of pride for talk with Elizabeth. 

I didn't like the book as much as I thought, but it was just okay. I just recommend it for people who love old love stories, because it isn't an easy book. 

Breaking Bad

This summer I saw a serie named Breaking Bad.

The serie is about Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who doesn't have a lot of money, and one day he went to the doctor and the doctor said he had cancer. His brother in law, Hank, is a police agent of the branch anti drugs, specially anti meth. 

One day, Hank says to Walter if he want to go to discover a meth laboratory. So they go, and Walter stays in the car. When he's lopking to the laboratory, went out running, his ex student who went to his class of chemistry.

Walter decides to combine with his ex student, Jesse, for do the best meth in USA, with 99.1% of purity. 

MY PERSONAL OPINION 

I love this serie, is one of my favorites, and I recommend to everybody. Some parts of this serie are boring, for example when Walter talks with his wife or with his family, but it have some action and interesant parts. 

I liked so much the character of Jesse (Aaron Paul), because it's an interesting character for me, and he's a very good person but he hasn't got an easy life.

My favorite tv show

Hi everybody, I'm Juana. I didn't know what to talk about because I wanted to do a new post in my blog. So i thought to talk you about my favorite tv show.

The name of the serie is American Horror Story. It's a television show created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. It's an horror serie, and it's about the typical American horror stories.

The first season (Murder House), takes place in Los Angeles, in 2011, and follows the story of a family that moves into an old and cheap house, because the parents have couple problems, and the house is haunted by its former deceased occupants. The main characters are Evan Peters, Taissa Farmiga, Connie Britton, Jessica Lange and Dylan McDermott. 

The second season (Asylum) takes place in Massachusetts in the 60's, and follows the stories of the inhabitants of a religious institution for the criminally insane. The main characters are Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe. 

The thirst season (Coven) takes place in New Orleans in the 1800's and 2013, and follows the stories and the wars between witches and witches of voodoo. The main characters are Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Taissa Farmiga, Evan Peters and Emma Roberts.

The four season (Freak Show) is already not avaiable, because it's by recording. But it's the last season of Jessica Lange. 

You can watch the serie in FX in USA and in the FOX channel and Cuatro channel in Spain.

It's my favorite serie because I love horror and because I love the actors and actresses of the serie. My favorite character is "Lana Winters" (Sarah Paulson in the second season) because she's a fighter woman and she's so brave. And my favorite season is the second because I loved how they can make you scary. I really recommend the serie for people who aren't too fearful. 

Maleficent

Last saturday I went to the cinema and I saw "Maleficent" from Disney. I liked so much the film, so I've decided to write about it.

 It's the story of the villain of Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent. 

The main characters are Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley and Sam Riley. It's directed by Robert Stromberg and produced by Joe Roth.

The story is about a fairy who lives in a magical kingdom nearly the humans kingdom. 
When she's 13 years old, she meets a human boy, Stefan, who wants to be a king. 
They start to begin friends, and when she's 16, she receives her first "real love kiss".  The kingdoms are in war, so the king of the human kingdom said that who kills Maleficent, will be the new king. Stefan lies Maleficent, and he cuts her wings.
When Maleficent finds out that, she become bad, because Stefan broke her heart. 
Stefan has a baby (Aurora) with the queen, and Maleficent make an incantation, and said that the baby will fall asleep when she will have 16, and only will can wake up with the "real love kiss". 

I loved so much the film because they act very well, and I like the characters, I recommend the film to everybody. 

I loved too the soundtrack of the fim, "Once Upon a Dream" from Lana del Rey.

France 2014

Hi, today I am going to talk about my travel to France. 

I had a really good time in France because it was very beautiful and different than Spain.

Me and my class went by plane to the airport of Paris the 19th of february. We had a bus and we went to Trouville Sur-Mer, Normandie. We went to Trouville for 6 days. 

Then we met our correspondents and we went to their houses for 6 days.

The name of my corres is Amèlie Hoye. She lives in Houlgate, Normandie.  She has got one brother and one sister. Her brother is 13 years old, his name is Pierre. Her sister is 8 years old and her name is Charlotte.  Her parents are separate so she has two houses. She has got a lot of pets in her father's house. And she has got a cat in her mother's house.
At the beginning we had problems because we didn't have a lot of relation, but later we started to talk and now we are good friends. I think we will have more relation when she come to Spain. 

We did a lot of activities in Normandie like: going to museums, going to Honfleur, Deauville, Le mont Sant Michel etc... 

I think the best city we've gone in France is Paris. We went to the Effiel Tower, to the rich zone of Paris, and a lot of beautiful places. Paris is very glamurous and beautiful and now it's one of my favorite cities in the world. I think Paris is the best place i've ever been in. I'm in love with Paris.

I miss all my french friends and I'm excited and impatient because i want to see them. I need to enjoy the time with them because is probably that I'll not see them anymore. 

Three Kings

Hello everybody, today is the Three King's day, and it's a tradition that three kings go home to home, giving presents for the families. 

In my family, we open the presents from home, later we go to my neighbors home and we're giving and receiving the presents that we buy for them. Later, we go to my grandma's house, and we give and receive the presents, and we have a lunch all the family together. After the lunch we do the ring-shaped cake. When we've get all the presents, my uncles, give us some money. 

They give me: 150€, a Casio watch, The Nike Air Force One shoes, a sweater, a coat and two perfumes. 

New year's eve.

My new year's eve was amazing. What I did this year was to invited some friends from my class and celebrate on a house I have for parties. The first I did was to prepared all the things for the dinner, and connect the computer to the speakers. Later, my friends came to my house and we started the party. We put the rtve's channel in the computer and we saw the chimes. Later, we did a toast. Later, we continue the party with music and we danced. I had a good time in new year's eve. 

Christmas day.

Hello again, today I'm gonna talk about the Christmas day in my family this year. But first I'm gonna talk about the story of Christmas. 

Christmas is an annual commemoration of the birthday of Jesus Christ, a cultural holiday, and a holiday season celebrated on December 25 by millions of people around the world. The Jesus Christ's birthday is the december 25 in the Julian calendar, but is the january 7 in the Gregorian calendar, and it's celebrated that day for other religions. 

Well, what we do is to get together in my home, and eat a lot of different things like: ham, fish etc... We get together at lunch time, and each one brings some food. After lunch, we have to sing some Christmas carols, and all my uncles give to me and my coussins some money. Later, we have an afternoon snack, we drink some coffee and we eat nougat, cake and bonbons. When all my uncles and coussins leave my home, we clean all the house and we throw out all the leftovers.
And this is my Christmas day every year. 

Christmas eve.

Hello everybody, today I'm going to talk about my christmas eve. I really love christmas, so I really love to talk about it. 

Well, in my family we're 60 people, so in christmas eve we go to the hotel Las Arenas, every year. In my family, we leave home at 18:00 o'clock, and when we arrive at the hotel, the first we do is going to the spa. Later, we take a shower and we make up for the dinner. We dinner a lot of dishes. When we get finished the dinner, we have the Secret Santa, and latter we have a party with a lot of music and an open bar in the hotel. Later, we go to sleep and we leave the hotel at the morning. 

The Ghost of Genny Castle.

Hello everybody. This summer, I read a book. The name of this book is: "The Ghost of Genny Castle". The writer is John Escott. The book is level two.

There are 3 principal characters: The aunt Min, Claire, and the old Walter Burge.

The story is about one girl named Claire who go to the house of her aunt Min on Christmas holiday, because her parents go to New Zeland. In the travel, she saw a castle. Nobody wants to talk about that castle, because they think there are a ghost into the castle. And she wants to know the mistery. She saw a book in the library, and the book has stories about the castle. The story in the book is about a witch. The witch was burned in the castle, and the ghost is there. Later, she will know the real story about the Genny castle. 

I liked the book because is a book about mistery, and I like that books. I think is a good book, and it's not hard to read, it is very easy. My favorite character in the book is Claire, because she's inteligent and curious. 

The author, John Escott writes books for students and young people. He was born in a small country town in Somerset, in the south-west of England. Now he lives in Bournemouth, by the sea. He's married and has two children. When he is not writing, he likes walking and he plays music. He has another books like: Detective Work and Money to Burn. 

I could not find webs about John Escott, I'm sorry. That's it. Bye!

My summer.

Hi! Now, I'm going to talk about my summer. My summer wasn't very interesting. I didn't travel to any place out of Spain. In july, I went to a summer school and I met a lot of people. It was okay. Later, I went to a summer camp with Silvia and Mar. That was the best part of the summer! It was awesome. And when the camp finish, I went to Denia. Silvia cames with me for 3 days. We did a lot of things. We went to Aqualandia, and to the boat of my coussins. Later, when Silvia goes home, Marina cames to Denia. And we did a lot of things too. I enjoy a lot my summer! But I would have preferred to travel. Bye!

                                   

Longboard.

Hi everybody!

Today, I'm going to talk about my favorite sport. 

My favorite sport is longboard. Longboard is similar to skateboard, but longboard is bigger than skateboard and longboard have bigger wheels. I use longboard all the weeks I can. I like to  do slides and other tricks. 

My longboard mark is Z-Flex. The makers of my Z-Flex, start to do Z-Flex in the 76's. 

Normaly, the mark Z-Flex, make little longboards, but the last year, they start to make this normal longboard. They named 76's, because they create the mark in the 76's. I have a great time doing longboard. I love it!!
